Representative Larsen was asked to participate in the Jackson Hole Center for Global Solutions’ forum on Climate Solutions, Coal Communities, and Economic Diversification held in Jackson Hole on November 8-9. Representative Larsen accepted the assignment to speak as a setting member of the legislature’s Joint Appropriations Committee on the impacts of reduced mineral revenues on the state’s budget, and how the legislature is addressing these impacts. Wyoming’s economic challenges are viewed to be similar on a small scale to the challenges China will also be facing.
