August 7th and 8th was the annual Native American Education Conference sponsored by the Wyoming Department of Education, and hosted on the Central Wyoming College campus in Riverton. I was fortunate to be asked to emcee the morning activities on the 8th. Senator Mike Enzi was there supporting his wife Diana as she help educators better understand the Wyoming Congressional Awards along with the Wyoming Congressional Awards Director, Tobi Cates. All Wyoming students are eligible for the award. The highlight of the morning was to recognize the outstanding Native American youth in Wyoming who were recipients of the Youth Pacesetter Awards.

This years conference was attend by nearly 600 individuals. Thanks to the Wyoming Department of Education for their continued support of this event.
